| ![]() Rooftop Operative TrainingCourse This full day is aimed at operatives, managers, supervisors and safety advisorsthat work or manage the way work at height on roofs is undertaken, taking an indepthlook at the working at height regulations 2005 and guidance for work onroofs. Course objectives This specialized course will identify the hidden dangers to working on and aroundflat and pitched roofs and common lack of anchorage. A detailed view of suitable commercially available portable man safe systems,edge protection and its safe instalment. The characteristics of fall protection equipment and the benefits of fall restraintover fall arrest. Candidates will be assed during the practical session using associated roof accessequipment such as temporary and permanent fall protection systems, adjustablerestraint, positioning equipment and permanent and temporary anchorage points. Training methods Lectures, printed course material, hands on equipment, practical exercise, andpre-use inspection exercise. Certification Successful delegate will receive a certificate on completion. PPE requirements No requirements due to classroom based training.
