GrimpDay 2012 - International technical rope rescue competition

GrimpDay’s 7th edition took place on May 12, 2012, in Belgium.The international rope rescue challenge brought search and rescue teams together from around the world.

180 search and rescue professionals attended GrimpDay 2012, they met in Namur, Belgium where they assembled themselves in to 30 teams. Each GrimpDay 2012 workshop focused on the specifics of search and rescue techniques in a hazardous environment.

The event was organized flawlessly and perfect weather made this year’s GrimpDay rope rescue event a resounding success.
