The Petzl Volt fall arrest and work positioning harness. When carrying out rigging duties, tower climbing etc, Volt harnesses offer greater support than a standard fall arrest harness while maintaining the freedom of movement.
This harness is designed for active use, an extra wide breathable waist band supoortive leg loops and fold flat positioning rings ensure you can get on with the task at hand in complete comfort.
Volt harnesses are equipped with the latest version of Petzl FAST buckles and easy fit vest. These two combined features make the Volt harnesses exceptionally quick to put on.
Should a fall occur while wearing the Volt harness, the adaptive connection point will raise to improve post fall posture. This feature also keeps the connection of ladder latch devices etc out of the way of a user when climbing. This is feature has been heavily tested by Petzl as many harnesses on the market offer poor post fall position.
For extended periods of work, where an even greater level of comfort is required, the Volt Seat can be fitted. The additon of a work seat removes weight from the users leg loops. The seat can be neatly clipped behind the user when not required.
Regular users of twin leg fall arrest lanyards will be aware of the dangers when clipping one of the legs back to the harnesses, thus isolating the shock absorber. The Volt harness has two cleverly positioned 'parking loops' for the afore mentioned lanyard, should a user accidently leave one leg attached while falling on the other... the harness will break away the 'parked' leg to prevent isolation of the lanyards shock absorber.
A set of large equipment storage loops are also included on the rear of the harness, another feature often missing from basic fall arrest harnesses.
